MATHEWSON COMPANIES NAMES DENNIS WELLS AS EMPLOYEE OF THE YEAR FOR 2007

Hancock, NH, December 8, 2007 -- At the company holiday party, Mathewson Companies presented its annual Employee of the Year award to Dennis Wells of Francestown. The employee of the year award is driven by nominations from all employees based on criteria of good work ethics and relations with customers and fellow employees. The recipient of the award and their spouse receive an all expense paid week-long vacation in a Mexican resort in the Yucatan. Phil Mathewson created this award four years ago in an effort to recognize not only the dedication of the employee, but also the support of their spouse or significant other. Other recipients of the award have been Charlie Johnson in 2003, Brian Wesolowski in 2004, Joyce Desaulniers in 2005 and Jonathan Charlonne in 2006.
